How we rank results

• How well the listing matches what you searched for
• Distance from the location you searched
• Whether the practice accepts the insurance you selected
• Whether it offers the language you selected
• Whether the professional license and any certification are verified
• How complete and how recently confirmed the information is
• Placement is not for sale. Claiming a profile unlocks features, never position

No hospital can pay to appear higher, or to appear on the emergency or certified pages. A hospital with more beds does not automatically rank first either: capacity is a fact we show, not a measure of quality.
